About twenty years ago, we started selling pecans in the hill country and in 1999, we started calling ourselves the Fredericksburg Pecan Company, taking over the established business of Segner’s Pecans. The Tisdale family has been raising pecans for over 60 years and we are committed to bringing you the best products in the industry at affordable prices. In fact, we personally guarantee everything we “shell” and sell. It has been said, “You can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy.” That is how it is with Olan—he moved away from San Saba, but his love for the pecan business continued. The pecans are harvested from our orchard in San Saba and from trees in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area making it possible to offer your favorite varieties of pecans and products.
